Carrie Underwood and Husband Plan to Adopt a Child

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are making plans to adopt a child. This topic has been on their minds for quite some time, but it seems they are now prepared to move forward with the adoption process. Fans are thrilled by the news and admire Carrie and Mike’s generous spirit and their willingness to provide a loving home for a child in need.

Unfortunately, Carrie Underwood has faced significant challenges with pregnancies in the past. After the birth of their first son, she endured three consecutive miscarriages. Desperate and heartbroken, Carrie did not think she would be able to have a second child. However, after fervent prayers, she was blessed with her second son.

“Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid? Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid. And for the first time, I feel like I actually told God how I felt, that was like a Saturday — and the Monday I went to the doctor to, like, confirm, another miscarriage. And they told me everything was great! He heard me.”

Given the hardships Carrie experienced during her pregnancies, adoption is the most viable option for expanding their family. A family friend has shared that Carrie and Mike have begun consulting with lawyers to facilitate the adoption process.

“Carrie lost three babies during pregnancies before she had Jacob, and she figured that was God’s plan for her. But Mike has been gung-ho about adding to their family, so they are going to bring another child into their home. They’ve met with lawyers about it, and their boys are over the moon thinking about having a little brother or sister added to the family mix!”

This news is indeed exhilarating for the family, and fans are genuinely happy for them. After all the miscarriages, it’s understandable why Carrie would choose not to go through more pregnancies. Nevertheless, this shouldn’t hinder their desire to have another child. They are more than capable of loving an adopted child just as much as their biological sons.

It seems clear that pregnancy has been incredibly taxing on Carrie, both physically and mentally. As a result, adoption appears to be the best path forward for her and Mike, allowing them to provide a stable and loving environment for another child.
