Cartoon Brilliantly Captures Wyoming’s Dumbest Tourists

The Facebook page, Yellowstone, Invasion Of The Idiots, does a marvelous job of showcasing how ridiculous some tourists can be.

This time, they use a cartoon to perfectly illustrate what goes on inside the mind of a clueless tourist.

And then, the reality of what happens next.

If you remember MAD MAGAZINE, you’ll instantly recognize the cartoonist’s style.

The comments left under this post are just fantastic.

Here is the entire cartoon.

YUP, that about sums it up.

Mark Dyda

Every time I visit, I half expect to see this

Hoyett Daffron

About sums it up, doesn’t it?

Lyrin Palmer

I want what I want when I want no matter what the rules are

Keith Sawyer

Hmmm, nope. Just “I don’t care until something bad happens “ stupidity.

This cartoon also reflects why people from Wyoming visit Yellowstone.

Wyoming residents don’t go to see Old Faithful, bears, or bison—they’ve seen that plenty of times.

They visit Yellowstone in hopes of witnessing foolish tourists face the consequences of their actions.

Many Wyoming residents often say they avoid Yellowstone because of the tourist traffic.

But maybe that’s precisely why they should go.

Would you visit Old Faithful just to snap a picture of the geyser erupting? Boring!

What about waiting for that perfect picture of a tourist sticking their face down the hole just before it blows? Bingo!

You could visit the Grand Prismatic Pool—it’s beautiful.

But there are already so many pictures of that, who needs another?

Wyoming residents visit Yellowstone to watch people face the consequences of their foolish actions!

It’s far more amusing to wait for the inevitable moment when some idiot steps off the boardwalk and watches their feet melt in the hot, acidic water.

Do you go to Yellowstone to see bison? Why? Wyoming has bison all over the state.

Would you go to Yellowstone to watch a bison charge a tourist? Now that’s a video worth posting on social media.

If you’ve lived in Wyoming long enough, you’ve seen bears.

Have you ever seen a bear maul a tourist? The best place to see that is Yellowstone National Park.

That’s why every year, many Wyoming residents plan at least one trip to this famous park.

Forget the tourist attractions that everyone else is there to see. Boring!

Wyoming residents wait patiently for that inevitable moment when some city slicker faces the wrath of nature.

That’s worth the price of admission.

They then share those pictures and videos with friends, hoping they go viral on the internet.
