Cast, Synopsis & Viewing Guide

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Season 3 of “All American: Homecoming” is quickly approaching its summer debut. This marks the third and final season of the spin-off that follows the character Simone Hicks from the original “All-American” series. Last season ended on a cliffhanger with Simone, portrayed by Geffri Maya, faced with a difficult choice between two men competing for her affection. In addition to her complicated love life, viewers also witness Simone and her Bringston family navigating the highs and lows of attending and working at Bringston University, a fictional HBCU. With this being the last season, we hope to find answers to many pressing questions, such as: Is Simone team Damon or team Lando?

This final season promises to resolve that burning question: who does Simone choose, Damon or Lando? The two star baseball players spent all last season vying for her heart, and finally, viewers will see whom she picks (a personal shoutout to Team Lando!). The season also sees Simone balancing her romantic entanglements, her commitments to her sorority, and her achievements on the tennis court. Additionally, other members of the Bringston family will face new challenges.

Coach Marcus’s estranged wife makes a return, potentially causing turmoil between him and Amara. JR encounters difficulties as he searches for life beyond KEK, compounded by the resurgence of his childhood illness. Thea embarks on her professional tennis career, aiming to make a significant mark. For Nate, Keisha, and Cam, the season explores how each carves their paths to success while juggling romantic relationships. Lando officially becomes a part of the family, and it will be interesting to see how the group integrates him into their close-knit dynamics. While we have a good grasp of what lies ahead for most characters, one remains a mystery: Damon. There was an announcement last year that Peyton Alex Smith, who plays Damon Sims, was being demoted from series regular to a recurring character, leaving us unsure about where his storyline is headed. One thing is certain, though—we will be watching keenly.
