Cate Blanchett Rocks Armani Puff Sleeves and Gianvito Rossi Booties in Venice

Cate Blanchett doesn’t shy away from repeating a stylish look. The esteemed actor attended the Venice Film Festival in Italy, re-wearing an ensemble that had previously graced another major event. Blanchett stunned in a sumptuous Giorgio Armani outfit, paired with matching black trousers and a pair of Gianvito Rossi booties.

Styled by Elizabeth Stewart, Blanchett’s look from Giorgio Armani featured a wide neckline and simple pants, maintaining an elegant yet understated appearance. Steward mentioned on Instagram that Blanchett first wore this outfit last year in London at a party for Armani’s Si Eau de Parfum Intense. This time, however, she chose to swap her footwear.

While she opted for stiletto pumps during the London event, Venice saw her in ankle boots designed by Gianvito Rossi. Known as the “vamp boot,” this suede style boasts a peep toe and a four-inch heel. The boot’s low-cut vamp reveals the top of the foot, offering a chic yet slightly edgy look. Although this bootie might offer more support than typical heels, its slip-on stiletto design doesn’t prioritize comfort.

For those interested, these Gianvito Rossi boots are available at the price of $898.

Gianvito Rossi has been increasingly popular with celebrities. Recently, Lily Collins wore the brand’s Ribbon Jane shoes—a flat, pointed-toe Mary Jane—in the trailer for “Emily in Paris” Season Four, Part Two. These shoes fit well with the show’s storyline that involves Emily relocating to Rome. Perhaps Blanchett had a similar thought when she chose Rossi’s boots for her trip to Venice.

Additionally, Taylor Russell was seen in Venice sporting a custom pair of Gianvito Rossi stilettos featuring a sheer upper, proving the brand’s versatility and appeal among stylish celebrities.

Established in 2006, Gianvito Rossi has grown into a globally recognized footwear brand. The company was founded by Gianvito Rossi after he spent a decade working with his father, Sergio Rossi, at his father’s own footwear brand. This rich legacy in shoemaking likely contributes to the brand’s sustained popularity.
