Catherine Zeta-Jones Returns to Social Media, Embraces New Start with Michael Douglas

Catherine Zeta-Jones has re-emerged on Instagram after a two-week pause. On a recent Friday, she greeted her followers with a playful “Remember me?” caption accompanying a stunning selfie. She is currently in the midst of filming the second season of Wednesday and seemed to embody her character, Morticia Addams, wearing a chic all-black outfit.

The 54-year-old actress donned a V-neck blouse and cat-eye sunglasses, with her dark hair elegantly styled in an updo. Her look was further accentuated by a sophisticated taupe lipstick. While Catherine didn’t disclose her location, it’s likely she’s back in Ireland for the continued production of Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Catherine shared that she was taking a break from filming to spend quality time with her family. She reunited with her husband, Michael Douglas, and their two children, Dylan and Carys. They were joined by Catherine’s niece, Ava, on a luxurious boating vacation.

Catherine and Michael, who have been married since 2000, have had to cope with time apart due to her filming commitments in Ireland since May. During this period, Michael has also been busy traveling, with visits to Monaco, Israel, and Mallorca.

In Mallorca, the 80-year-old actor revealed his plans to semi-retire while attending the Atlantida Mallorca Film Festival in July. He expressed his love for the place where he has been visiting for 35 years, despite his limited Spanish. Michael plans to spend six to seven months a year in Mallorca but clarified that he hasn’t fully retired.

Michael shared his decision to instruct his agent to contact him only for very special roles. This change comes after a restful period at the end of 2022 following the completion of his series Franklin.

The couple’s future plans also involve relocating. Catherine and Michael have decided to sell their family home in Irvington, Westchester County. They plan to divide their time between Bermuda and Europe, with intentions to spend half the year in Spain.

This relocation will bring them closer to their daughter Carys, who is currently studying in London. With just a short flight between Spain and London, the couple is eagerly anticipating more family time once Catherine concludes her filming activities this year.
