Cause of Death Revealed for Slash’s Stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight

Lucy-Bleu Knight’s cause of death has been revealed over a month after her stepfather, Slash, announced she had died at the age of 25.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that the makeup artist passed away from hydrogen sulfide toxicity. This was confirmed as a suicide.

Hydrogen sulfide is a poisonous, flammable gas that can be fatal to humans if exposure is prolonged, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Symptoms of acute exposure to hydrogen sulfide include nausea, headaches, disorientation or confusion, memory loss, disturbed equilibrium, and convulsions, among others.

The coroner’s office stated, “Ms. Knight was found unresponsive in a private residence on July 19 by law enforcement conducting a welfare check. Death was pronounced at 1500 hours.”

An examination was performed by a deputy medical examiner on July 22. The cause of death was certified on August 29.

Slash, the famous Guns N’ Roses guitarist whose real name is Saul Hudson, shared news of his stepdaughter’s passing on his Instagram page on July 21.

In the heart-wrenching post, he described Lucy-Bleu as “a talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.”

In a follow-up message on July 27, the 59-year-old musician shared a selfie of Lucy-Bleu, expressing his deep sorrow over her death.

“My heart is permanently fractured. I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been & still are,” he shared.

He continued, “The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.”

Lucy-Bleu was the daughter of Slash’s longtime partner, Meegan Hodges.

Hours before her death, Lucy-Bleu posted an apology message on Instagram along with a selfie.

“Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity – I am sorry,” she wrote.

She added, “Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart, and fear of being vulnerable.”

She chillingly concluded, “May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace🌷.”
