Celebrities at the RNC: Meet Savannah Chrisley, Amber Rose, and More Stars

The stars are out in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention.

From controversial reality stars to a country singer and comedian, several celebrities are expressing their support for former President Donald Trump and his agenda by speaking at the RNC. Earlier this week, the Republican National Convention’s Committee on Arrangements and the Donald Trump Campaign announced the list of scheduled headliners and keynote speakers.

Meet Savannah Chrisley, Chris Janson, Lee Greenwood, and Amber Rose, some of the notable names gracing the convention stage or events, advocating for a return to a conservative administration under Trump.

Savannah Chrisley is a reality TV star and the daughter of Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley, who are currently serving prison sentences after being found guilty in 2022 of defrauding community banks, defrauding the IRS, and committing tax evasion.

She starred alongside her family on the USA Network’s hit show “Chrisley Knows Best,” which chronicled the lives of her parents as real estate tycoons in Atlanta and later Nashville, Tennessee, for ten seasons from 2014 through 2023. “Growing Up Chrisley,” a spin-off featuring Savannah and her brother Chase, aired for four seasons after its 2019 premiere.

Amber Rose is a rapper and model who has appeared on several reality TV shows, including “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Dancing With the Stars,” and “America’s Next Top Model.” She also hosted her talk show, “The Amber Rose Show,” which ran for one season in 2016.

Rose has been in the spotlight for her highly publicized relationships with rappers Kanye West, now known as Ye, and Wiz Khalifa, with whom she shares a son, Sebastian “Bash” Taylor. She also worked with the SlutWalk movement to end rape culture and slut-shaming.

During her speech at the RNC in Milwaukee, Rose touched on the topic of race, stating, “Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay, or straight, it’s all love. And that’s when it hit me. These are my people, this is where I belong.”

Chris Janson is a country singer-songwriter known for hits such as “Buy Me a Boat,” “Fix a Drink,” and “Done.” He also co-wrote Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah.” Janson made an appearance at the RNC, continuing his streak of participating in Republican conventions.

In 2016, Janson performed a rendition of “Truck Yeah” titled “Trump Yeah” at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Last year, he discussed the values of family, God, and community that resonate with both country music and many Americans.

Lee Greenwood, famous for the patriotic anthem “God Bless The U.S.A.,” is a regular performer at RNC events. On Tuesday, Greenwood took the stage once again, performing alongside fellow Tennesseans Sixwire.

Greenwood sang his song “Holdin’ a Good Hand” after an emotional performance of “God Bless the U.S.A.” on Monday when Trump made his first public appearance since a shooting at a Pennsylvania rally that left one person dead and several others, including Trump, injured.
