Celebs at U.S. Open, Brandy Norwood at L.A. Premiere, ‘The Forge’ in Atlanta

Carmelo Anthony was seen among several high-profile celebrities attending the 2024 U.S. Open. Other notable attendees included Questlove, Chanel Iman, Yvonne Orji, and TV personality Terrence J. Terrence J participated in the U.S. Open as part of HBCU Live and also took part in a panel called “HBCU Equity Talk: The Future of Black Wealth.”

Brandy Norwood joined her cast and the director of the new thriller, A24’s The Front Room, for its Los Angeles premiere. Norwood plays a pregnant woman who is literally terrorized when her mother-in-law moves in. The movie opens on September 6.

The cast of The Forge, from Sony Pictures’ AFFIRM Films, Provident Films, and the Kendrick Brothers, walked the red carpet at the film’s premiere in Atlanta. The event was graced by special guests including Yvonne Orji, Tina Campbell, DeVon Franklin, Trina Braxton, Mike Jackson, MAJOR, Pastor William Murphy, John Gray, Bishop Neil Ellis, Pastor Bridget Hilliard, and Ashley Graham. Cast members in attendance were Priscilla Shirer, Aspen Kennedy, Cameron & BJ Arnett, Ben Watson, Jerry Shirer, Jude Shirer, Tommy Woodard, Anna Douglas, Ken Bevel, and more.
