At one point, it seemed that Chance The Rapper was struggling to win over hip-hop fans. However, the “Yah Know” rapper’s patient and deliberate approach in promoting his upcoming album Star Line might just turn the tide in his favor.

So far, Chance has dropped three tracks, “Together,” “Stars Out,” and “Buried Alive,” all of which are expected to be part of the final album. Even if these songs don’t make the cut, reports suggest that Chance has plenty of new material ready to share.

On July 18, Chance hosted his second listening experience for a select group of fans in Atlanta, Georgia. According to NFR Podcast‘s latest update, during the event, Chance previewed 10 unreleased songs and debuted two upcoming music videos.

Fans who attended the event are now eagerly demanding an official release date for the project, sharing their excitement and positive reviews.

“Chance The Rapper is transforming how we consume music and interact with artists…again lol. Beautiful and inspiring experience. So grateful,” one fan commented.

“Such a cool experience. I can’t believe how intimate and fascinating it was to unravel music in such a collective way,” said another.

“One of the best things I’ve ever gone to. Such a vibe,” added another attendee.

The next Writings On The Wall listening experience for Star Line will take place in New Orleans, continuing to build anticipation for the album.

While Chance might appreciate the growing anticipation, he revealed in an interview with BET that he is not in a hurry to release Star Line.

“I don’t have to rush to put anything out, and that gives me the confidence and security knowing that it’s cool to wait until I have everything packaged,” he said. “Then, I’ve fallen in love with it over and over again before I release it.”

Star Line will be Chance The Rapper’s first album since 2019’s The Big Day, marking a significant return for the artist.
