Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell have been a prominent conservation duo since their marriage in 2020. They’ve used their social media platforms to disseminate educational content and share heartwarming glimpses into their lives. Recently, Powell shared a photo on Instagram that caught everyone by surprise due to its ‘dirty’ nature.
The love story between Chandler and Bindi, daughter of the late Steve Irwin, began in 2013 when they first met at the Australia Zoo. The couple got engaged in the summer of 2019 and were married the following spring at the same zoo where they first met. On March 25, exactly one year later, their daughter Grace Warrior was born. However, life isn’t always pristine for this family, as Chandler’s latest photo clearly shows.
Chandler Powell stuns social media with filthy photo that showcases massive size difference
On July 31, Chandler excitedly posted some news on social media. “The Australia Zoo Crocodile Research Trip is officially here!” he announced. “We’ll be spending the next month on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve tracking crocodiles to learn more about them.”
He expressed his enthusiasm further, saying, “It is such an honor to be part of this incredible, important work. Check out this dinosaur foot.” Indeed, crocodiles have been around for hundreds of millions of years, much like sharks, making them living dinosaurs.
The accompanying photo featured Chandler’s hand, covered in grime and dirt, placed next to a colossal crocodile foot. The sheer size difference along with the dirty yet pristine look of both elements in the photo left fans in awe and earned Chandler abundant praise.
Many of Chandler’s followers were struck by the enormous scale of the reptilian foot. Some commented, “Gosh that’s massive” and “That’s huge!” One user even mistook it for a dragon leg and chimed in, “I thought this was a Game of Thrones promo.”
Others commended Chandler for his commitment to his work. One follower wrote, “Absolutely beautiful. One of the world’s most misunderstood creatures are the crocodilians and alligators, so smart and intelligent.”
Another admirer wrote, “What an incredible shot Chandler! I hope you and your amazing family have a successful trip at the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve and gather more information about these incredible modern-day dinosaurs that Steve loved so much.”
Despite his deep passion for the Australia Zoo and its initiatives, Chandler is also a devoted family man. He has shared sweet photos with his wife and daughter, captioning them with sentiments like, “The happiest moments are spent with my girls. Here’s to more memories like this.”
These affectionate family posts often lead followers to gush, “The love & happiness in your eyes & smiles makes my heart burst.” Another commented, “Love it! Grace is growing up so beautiful and sweet. It’s an honor to watch her and the entire family in these amazing moments. Hope that beautiful Bindi is healthy and feeling much better. Infinite love and blessings always.”
Chandler’s combination of dedication to wildlife conservation and his heartfelt devotion to his family has earned him a solid fan base. Each post, whether about the giant reptiles he studies or the loving moments with his family, continues to captivate and inspire.
