Chappell Roan’s Stunning Transformation

After Chappell Roan’s career skyrocketed in early 2024, she found it challenging to keep pace with her newfound fame. At a performance shortly after her viral Governors Ball set, Roan became emotional on stage, expressing how surreal everything felt. “I guess I just want to be honest,” she said in a YouTube clip, her voice trembling. “I think that my career is just kind of going really fast, and it’s really hard to keep up.”

In a candid interview with Glamour, Roan shared how she has had to establish boundaries with her fans to maintain her mental health. During her early tours, she offered meet-and-greet sessions allowing fans to interact with her backstage. However, she soon realized that many fans would overshare, recounting highly emotional stories moments before she had to perform.

“Toward the end, I was having panic attacks between the meet-and-greets and the shows because of how intense the stories were that people were telling me,” she reflected. “The meet-and-greets, I don’t think I can do that again. I know a lot of artists, as you grow, they can’t do it anymore. Because of this. Oh, my God, the boundaries, there’s none, you know?”
