Charity Lawson Responds to ‘DWTS’ Partner’s Unexpected Arrest

Dancing With The Stars fans were stunned this week after learning that Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. Charity Lawson, the Bachelorette who was paired with him on Season 32, has now reacted to the news.

Artem Chigvintsev, one of the most beloved professional dancers on Dancing With The Stars, started his journey on the show in Season 18 as part of the troupe. He made his official debut as a pro dancer the following season with actress Lea Thompson from Back to the Future.

The Russian-born dancer met his now-wife, WWE star Nikki Bella (now Nikki Garcia), during Season 25. They had a son named Matteo, who is currently four years old. According to reports, Matteo was present during the domestic violence incident.
