Chris Evans Gushes About His Social Butterfly Dog, Dodger

Dodger is not only one of the happiest and friendliest dogs you will ever see, but with Chris Evans as his owner, he truly lives the good life.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Evans brought Dodger to set, as he often does. Dodger accompanies him everywhere! Despite Evans’ busy lifestyle, Dodger doesn’t get anxious or overwhelmed. Instead, he revels in the attention he receives from everyone around. Dodger is a true social butterfly and loves interacting with people.

Evans adopted Dodger in 2015, and the bond between them was instantaneous. Interestingly, Evans hadn’t planned on adopting a dog that day. He was filming a scene at an animal shelter when he met Dodger and instantly fell in love with him. Today, despite the passing years, Evans says Dodger still has the playfulness of a puppy.

When asked by Us Weekly how Dodger would handle walking the red carpet with him, Evans joked that Dodger would probably enjoy it immensely. Every person on set showers Dodger with praise, calling him a “little social butterfly,” which makes the pup very happy.

Recently, Dodger has garnered even more attention as he helps Evans promote their partnership with Jinx, a high-quality dog food brand. Evans has been working with Jinx since 2022, aiming to provide nutritious and affordable dog food and treats.
