Chris Pratt Shares Rare Photos of Son Jack Ahead of Family Change
It was a special weekend for Chris Pratt and his family.
On Saturday, August 17, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor’s eldest son, Jack, celebrated his 12th birthday. Jack, who Chris shares with ex-wife Anna Faris, marked this milestone at a significant time for the Pratt family, as Chris is expecting his fourth child, his third with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, whom he married in 2019.
Though Chris generally keeps his children out of the public eye, he made an exception for Jack’s birthday by sharing several photos of his son looking all grown up. The photos offered a glimpse into Jack’s hobbies and personality, showing him interacting with different animals on a farm.
In one photo, Jack is seen feeding milk to a baby cow, while other images show him looking at sheep, petting a horse, and carrying a baby lamb.
“Happy Birthday to my wonderful son Jack,” Chris wrote in the caption. “I thank God every day for you, sweet boy.”
He continued, “You are so smart, hilarious, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, and tough. I love you so much, kiddo. Twelve!? I honestly can’t believe it.”
Fans were quick to leave birthday messages in the comments section under the post. One wrote, “Happy Birthday Jack! You are one cool kid,” while others chimed in with sentiments like, “Adorable photos,” “Happy Birthday Jack! May God bless you with many more,” and “That’s so sweet!”
In addition to Jack, Chris is also a dad to daughters Lyla Maria, who just celebrated her fourth birthday, and Eloise Christina, who turned two earlier this summer.
With just one year left before Jack’s milestone 13th birthday, his mom Anna recently shared insights about parenting a son entering puberty. “He told me that he thinks he has an armpit hair,” she joked during an appearance on the Today Show, adding, “It’s happening.”
Reflecting on how quickly he has grown, Anna added, “You miss it sometimes when you look at old photos,” but she emphasized, “But I’m really loving this age.”
