Christina Aguilera surprised fans on Instagram with the reveal of her August cover for Glamour magazine.

Captured on the beach, the Genie in a Bottle singer sported a trending cream-colored backless halter mini dress from Saint Laurent. She added a touch of drama to the outfit with a matching Sergio Hudson cape that resembled a flowing bedsheet.

Her platinum blonde hair was styled in beachy waves, complemented by a glossy pink lip.

When the mother of two shared the cover on her Instagram, fans couldn’t help but celebrate the singer’s 25-year career and accomplishments:

“The icon. The voice. The woman. The lungs of a mutant!”

“Was that girl, is that girl, and will forever be THAT GIRL.”

“And here’s to 25 more love you.”

Aguilera, who has recently made headlines for her slimmer appearance —sparking fan speculation about the use of Ozempic—opened up about the early days of her career and the determination that fueled her success.

“I think the biggest word that sums up that first record for me is grateful,” she said. “Being thankful because it got my foot in the door. After 25 years, I’m so proud of it. I think to sustain anything for a lengthy amount of time takes a lot of work and dedication, and passion. There are many elements that go into being able to build something.”

Aguilera also spoke about the pressure to constantly stay thin throughout her career and the scrutiny she has faced over her weight: “When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s. I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker.’ Then I had industry people: ‘They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.’”

But she’s worked hard to not let that bother her anymore; as she said, “Other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”
