Christina Hall Shares Joyful Message with Lookalike Mom Amid Difficult Divorce
Christina Hall is focusing on the positives amid her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Josh Hall. Christina recently shared an adorable picture of her lookalike mother, Laurie, for a very special occasion.
“Happy birthday to my mama – I love you,” Christina shared across an Instagram Story, featuring a sweet snap of her mom and dad Paul dressed up and holding each other lovingly.

Laurie wore an embroidered black kimono with her hair loose and swept over her shoulders, while Paul looked sharp in a gray suit with a matching striped tie.
Christina is very close to her parents, who appeared as her clients in the premiere episode of the new season of her HGTV show “Christina on the Coast.”

The 41-year-old revealed that her parents might be her “most challenging clients yet.” Despite their reluctance to follow her advice about opening up their floor plan, they went on to spend $75,000 on various renovations including the kitchen, bar, powder room, and laundry room.
For the dining room, they kept a cherished large wooden table but chose to upgrade the chairs. Christina remarked, “I love that you guys have the farm table that’s been in the family forever, and obviously we had many dinners here; but we just updated it by adding these comfy chairs, which I feel like really softens the space, and they’re actually comfortable.”
In the bar area, Christina opened up the space by removing the sink and adding a fridge and icemaker. She also created more preparation areas for appetizers and drinks.

Christina and Josh both filed for divorce, with different cited dates for separation—Josh pinpointed July 8, while Christina claimed July 7. Josh, a producer on her HGTV show and also a real estate agent, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Their divorce is set to impact upcoming HGTV projects. They were scheduled to appear alongside Christina’s first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.

The planned show, “The Flip Off,” would have pitted the two couples against each other to see who could “find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain.”
However, recent reports indicate that Josh has been cut from the show, with producers opting to continue without him.
