Christina Hall's Talk on Daughter Taylor's Teen Years Reveals Her Parenting Style

Christina Hall recently shared her thoughts on how adolescence is affecting her only daughter, giving insight into her parenting style.

While promoting the new season of her HGTV show, Christina on the Coast, the mother of three spoke to People about her evolving relationship with 13-year-old Taylor. Hall described the experience as “wild” and noted, “She’s just grown up so much from 12 to 13.” The former Flip or Flop star added, “I just love spending time with her. I love our conversations. We’re closer than ever… I just love being her mom.”

When asked if Taylor has shown interest in following in her career footsteps, Hall explained, “I feel like she was more into [interior design] prior to being a teenager. Now, she’s just more into friends and summer, so they want to go to the beach and do their thing.” Hall understands and respects her daughter’s current interests but believes that if Taylor decides to pursue real estate in the future, she would naturally drift back to it.

Hall’s approach to parenting is admirable. She supports Taylor’s choices and doesn’t pressure her to follow the family business. This approach sets a great example for unconditional parental support and underscores the importance of allowing children to discover their own interests.

Besides Taylor, Hall is also a mom to an 8-year-old son, Braydon, with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. She shares her 4-year-old son, Hudson, with ex-husband Ant Anstead. Joshua Hall, whom she married in April 2022, is a devoted stepdad to all three kids.

In June, Heather Rae El Moussa, Tarek’s wife, discussed her co-parenting relationship with Christina during an interview on Tamron Hall. The two families are currently working together on a joint HGTV competition show called The Flip Off, set to premiere in 2025. Heather shared, “It’s crazy, but everyone is in such a good place, and we’re here to give you guys a great show. We’re really excited about it.”

Tarek and Heather also have a 17-month-old son named Tristan, adding to their blended family.
