‘Claim to Fame’ Season 3 Winner Revealed!

“Hey Siri. Play ‘Missing You Now’ by Michael Bolton.”

Season 3 of ABC’s reality TV series Claim to Fame came to an end with a thrilling two-part finale, where the final four contestants battled it out for the crown and $100,000. The finale was packed with intense moments, including three significant guess-offs, two challenging tasks, and even one traumatic head injury.

In the first part of the finale, the final four participated in a challenge that provided them with new clues about their competitors. Shane’s wine cellar clue was finally exposed, leading to the departure of an eighth player. In the second part, the final three faced their final challenge, receiving help and hindrance from previously eliminated players. Two final guesses revealed the celebrity relatives of the runners-up, and then the winner was announced.

At the beginning of Season 3, the reality show welcomed 11 contestants to a Hollywood mansion, each hiding a famous celebrity relative. Each week, a contestant’s celebrity connection was unveiled, leading to their elimination, until only one winner remained.

Shane was the first to be eliminated during Episode 7 after staying under the radar for much of the season. His competitors Mackenzie, Hud, and Adam targeted him, and Mackenzie ultimately guessed his celebrity relative correctly, sending him home.

Mackenzie identified Shane as the grandson of Oscar-winning actor Marlon Brando. Shane shared that he had spent considerable time with Brando during his youth.

In the finale, Mackenzie herself became the next target. Despite initially working against Adam, he triumphed in a crucial challenge and correctly guessed Mackenzie’s celebrity relative, resulting in her elimination.

Mackenzie is the daughter of country music star Trace Adkins. Throughout the season, there were several incorrect guesses, but Adam eventually identified her connection after a few missteps.

Hud was the next to be eliminated. With ample clues at his disposal, Adam quickly guessed Hud’s celebrity relative, paving the way for Adam’s ultimate victory.

Hud is the son of rock musician John Cougar Mellencamp. Several melon-related clues and song references helped Adam piece together Hud’s celebrity lineage. A touching video message from Mellencamp was played upon Hud’s elimination.

Adam emerged as the winner of Claim to Fame Season 3. Despite being a target for many weeks, no one could correctly identify his celebrity connection in time to eliminate him. After the first contestant Bianca was eliminated, she had managed to identify his relative.

Adam revealed that he is the nephew of love ballad singer Michael Bolton. By keeping his relation with Bolton a secret, Adam secured the $100,000 prize and the coveted title of the season.
