Clearly, the Stress Is Taking Its Toll on Her

Angelina Jolie may have an injured son to care for, but she continues to dedicate significant time to her legal battle with Brad Pitt. Close friends reveal their concern that her busy schedule might lead to severe health issues.

“Angelina is juggling multiple responsibilities right now,” shares an insider. “She’s campaigning behind the scenes for an Oscar nomination for her work on Maria, producing several new projects, and fighting fiercely in court with Brad.”

“She’s in meetings from morning till night,” the source adds. “From the moment she wakes up until she goes to bed, it’s non-stop.”

On top of this, the Wanted actress, 49, is dealing with her son Pax’s recent accident. Pax, 20, reportedly crashed his electric bike into the back of a car at an intersection near her home in the Los Feliz area of L.A.

Pax wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Witnesses reported he had hip pain and a head injury before being quickly transported to a local hospital by paramedics.

Pax has since been released from the hospital in August.

“They’re all relieved to have him back home, though seeing him in this condition has been quite scary,” an insider previously shared.

“He needs plenty of rest to recover, and when he’s awake, the entire family is around him, watching movies and ensuring he has all his favorite foods,” the insider added.

The first source mentions that Angelina’s additional responsibility of caring for Pax is straining her, considering all the existing stressors in her life.

“Having an injured son to look after has added even more to her workload. Despite this, she isn’t relying heavily on a medical team, choosing to be hands-on in his care. As a mother, she wants to be as involved as possible,” the insider revealed.

“One might think that this scare would prompt her to ease up on her fight with Brad, but it’s actually strengthened her resolve to win and expose him,” the source continued.

The Maleficent star filed for divorce from her Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, 60, in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting custody of the children.

Though the couple was declared legally single in April 2019, their divorce remains unresolved, adding yet another task to Angelina’s already full plate.

She was seen for the first time since Pax’s accident looking noticeably gaunt and pale on Monday, August 12, a reflection of the overwhelming stress she’s enduring.

“The stress is evidently taking its toll on her,” the source continued. “She’s not sleeping or eating well, appearing thinner than ever. It’s concerning and there’s a fear that she could potentially risk her own health amidst all this.”
