Prime Video’s Young Sherlock series is securing a high-profile addition to its cast.

Colin Firth has joined the ensemble of the upcoming series directed by Guy Ritchie, taking on the role of Sir Bucephalus Hodge, according to Deadline. The specifics of his character are still under wraps.

The show, adapted from Andy Lane’s Young Sherlock Holmes books, is penned by Matthew Parkhill, known for Deep State. It reimagines the famous detective as a 19-year-old maverick caught in a murder mystery at Oxford University that could jeopardize his freedom. Sherlock embarks on his first case with a turbulent approach, eventually uncovering a “globe-trotting conspiracy” that alters his life course.

The previously announced cast includes Hero Fiennes Tiffin, known for his role in the After films, as Sherlock, with Joseph Fiennes and Natascha McElhone portraying his parents. Zine Tseng joins the cast as Princess Gulun Shou’an.

* Great American Media’s original series County Rescue, a faith-based drama exploring the challenges faced by EMTs, will return for a second season.
