A densely packed biography of the master actor starts with what one contributor calls “a textbook horrible childhood,” but progresses to triumphant film performances in Great Expectations, Kind Hearts and Coronets, and the rest. Archive clips are supported by words from colleagues and loved ones.

As they think about heading home, Flintoff – who has been facing his own demons – addresses the fears of homelessness and unemployment among his charges.

This week, it is the terrific Keegan-Michael Key as a crooked asset manager who kills his daughter’s loose-lipped fiancé on their wedding day. Elsbeth (Carrie Preston) moseys in and proceeds cheerfully to make his life a living hell.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School

After a run-in with teen killer Bloody Rose, Imogen (Bailee Madison) is traumatised – particularly because the murderer greatly resembled her late mother. But when she seeks reassurances from Dr Sullivan (Annabeth Gish), Imogen discovers the therapist’s strange connection with “Stalker A.” Meanwhile, the mystery of Bloody Rose’s identity nears its climax.
