How to Watch “Coraline” Online

If you prefer streaming over physical copies, “Coraline” is available to own as a digital download for $12 on Prime Video. This deal gets you an HD version of the Oscar-nominated film that is yours to keep once you download it. This version also comes with bonus features.

You can also purchase “Coraline” on Apple for $12.99. Currently, renting “Coraline” is not an option, so owning it through a VOD streaming service is the only way to watch it online.

Directed by Henry Selick, known for “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Coraline” is based on the 2002 book by Neil Gaiman. Featuring the voices of Dakota Fanning and Teri Hatcher, “Coraline” debuted to critical acclaim and was nominated for “Best Animated Feature” at the 2009 Academy Awards.

As production company Laika describes, “Coraline Jones is bored in her new home until she finds a secret door that leads into a world that’s just like her own…but better! But when this fantastical adventure turns dangerous and her ‘other’ mother tries to keep her forever, Coraline must rely on her resourcefulness and bravery to get home.”

You can watch “Coraline” at home by purchasing the Blu-ray/DVD or a digital download. Additionally, you can read the book that inspired the stop-motion fantasy film.
