Courteney Cox recently shared a glimpse into her serene Malibu mansion with her 15.1 million Instagram followers.
The Friends star, who resides in the $9 million beachfront property with her partner Johnny McDaid and daughter Coco Arquette, frequently posts humorous videos from her stunning home.
In her latest playful video, Courteney gives fans a peek into her chic, minimalistic kitchen. The space exudes an effortless bohemian vibe, characterized by moody dark interiors and natural wood accents.
It’s evident that the Scream actress prefers a curated aesthetic over clutter, with her kitchen shelves lined with color-coordinated vases and abstract sculptures.
The countertops, adorned with flecked black granite, and rustic slate flooring further enhance the room’s organic appeal.
The room also boasts dark wood cabinetry, a modern double oven, and a stovetop built into the island, contributing to its sleek, modern look.
Speaking with the interiors blog One King’s Lane, Courteney revealed that her now earthy-toned kitchen and dining space once had a very different look.
“My kitchen is white lacquer, and it’s very stark and very bright – and that’s what a beach house should be,” she said in the archived post.
“It’s a very open, airy thing. But then because this is my primary home I also want it to be cozy. So I just painted some of the rooms darker and made it a little more… just cozier.”
The sleek, sophisticated design extends throughout her breathtaking home, a far cry from the quaint, eclectic style of her Friends character, Monica Geller’s New York apartment.
Monica’s apartment was known for its purple walls, cluttered cabinets, and mix-and-match artwork, reflecting a playful, vibrant aesthetic that contrasts sharply with Courteney’s more refined taste.
