Courtney Hope vs. Melissa Claire Egan: Dance-Off Showdown!

On *The Young & The Restless*, Sally and Chelsea aren’t exactly best friends, especially since Sally recently discovered Adam cheated on her with Chelsea and repeatedly lied about it. However, the actresses who portray them, Courtney Hope and Melissa Claire Egan, demonstrated their off-screen camaraderie in a playful video shared on social media.

Hope teased fans with the caption, “Bumping into your arch nemesis at your local coffee shop,” accompanying a clip of her and Egan bumping into each other on the Crimson Lights set at the Y&R studio. They exchange knowing looks before toasting with their coffee cups. As the lyrics to Sabrina Carpenter’s hit single “Espresso” start, the duo seamlessly transitions into a choreographed dance routine.

Fans and fellow cast members were quick to react. Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine and is known for sharing fun behind-the-scenes videos of the Y&R cast, commented with dancing girl and heart emojis. Zuleyka Silver, who portrays Audra, excitedly mentioned, “This turned out so good!” Hope responded appreciatively, “Thanks for letting us dance outside your door! Next time you’re joining us!”

Greg Rikaart, known for his role as Kevin, and also Leo from Days of Our Lives, humorously declared he had “no notes.” Alison Lanier, who plays Summer, eagerly commented, “I’m obsessed! Need to know how many takes y’all did but you can tell me IRL!” Hope replied that it took them “a handful” of takes to perfect the routine and added, “You gotta join the next one!”

Although Hope revealed in a recent interview that Adam’s betrayal “could potentially be unforgivable,” it seems there are no hard feelings between Sally and Chelsea’s portrayers. At the very least, fans can look forward to more fun backstage videos. Perhaps Silver and Lanier will treat us to an Audra/Summer dance-off in the future!
