Crown Prince Hussein Cherishes Special Father-Daughter Moment with Princess Iman

Crown Prince Hussein is relishing the early weeks of fatherhood with his and Princess Rajwa’s newborn daughter, Princess Iman.

The future King of Jordan, aged 30, recently shared a heartwarming photo of himself enjoying a cuddle with his little one.

Princess Iman, who was born on 3 August, was dressed adorably in a pink giraffe-print sleepsuit as she nestled into her father’s shoulder, while Hussein gazed lovingly at her. Part of the caption in Arabic translated to, “The best morning before work,” before Hussein added, “With my precious one.”

The Crown Prince, who also serves as a major in the Jordanian army, was dressed in his military uniform. Father and daughter were in a beautifully decorated bedroom featuring a patterned rug and neutral-colored furnishings, including a toy box with a stuffed unicorn peeking over the top.

Just days prior, Hussein’s mother, Queen Rania, posted a photo of her and her husband, King Abdullah, spending time with their first grandchild. Princess Iman slept peacefully in her grandmother’s arms while the King and Queen relaxed in their living room.

“So much cuteness in my arms,” Rania captioned the image.

New parents Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa made their first public appearance with their baby girl on 7 August as they left the hospital. Rajwa looked stunning in a blue and white patterned shirt dress while Hussein carried the baby in her car seat to their vehicle parked outside King Hussein Medical Center in Amman.

Hussein and Rajwa were married on 1 June 2023 with a grand ceremony attended by royal guests from monarchies around the world, including the Prince and Princess of Wales. The Royal Hashemite Court announced in April, coinciding with Rajwa’s 30th birthday, that the couple was expecting their first child.

During her pregnancy, Rajwa made several public appearances, including at King Abdullah’s Silver Jubilee in June.

Despite being the firstborn child of the heir to the Jordanian throne, Princess Iman is not in the line of succession as only male heirs are entitled to be included. King Abdullah and Queen Rania are also parents to Princess Iman, who married Jameel Alexander Thermiótis in March 2023, as well as Princess Salma and Prince Hashem.
