‘Dance Moms’ Star Christi Lukasiak Charged With DUI After Car Crash

Former Dance Moms star Christi Lukasiak faces significant legal trouble. News outlets report that Pennsylvania authorities have charged Christi with a DUI after a recent car accident.

TMZ reports that they obtained a copy of the police report. Authorities apprehended Christi after she crashed her car into a tree in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The crash happened on June 27, 2024, and also reportedly damaged a telephone pole.

“Cops say she exhibited all the classic DUI signs … bloodshot and glassy eyes, slurred speech and the officer on the scene reported the smell of alcohol on Christi’s breath,” TMZ writes.

On the show, Christi and Kelly Hyland were often seen enjoying wine. However, few fans likely expected something like this would occur.

Police reports also indicate that Christi admitted to having two glasses of wine before driving. A preliminary breath test revealed that she had consumed alcohol, and standard field sobriety tests confirmed her intoxication.

Thus far, Christi’s family hasn’t made any public statements regarding the DUI charge. Fortunately, Chloe Lukasiak seems to be thriving despite family difficulties. The former child star is now 23 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Pepperdine University.
