Daniel Craig’s James Bond-Inspired Triumph Motorcycles Up for Auction

What’s better than a James Bond-themed motorcycle? How about two of them, once owned by one of the most beloved actors to ever portray cinema’s favorite spy?

A pair of Bond Edition Triumph motorcycles, a Scrambler 1200 and a Tiger 900, that belonged to Daniel Craig will be auctioned off separately by Bonhams in October. Whoever wins these bikes won’t just be getting a cool 007 memento; they’ll also be contributing to a good cause, as a portion of both sales will go to charity.

The two motorcycles, the first released in conjunction with the James Bond franchise, debuted in 2022, the same year the series celebrated its 60th anniversary. Triumph, the U.K.’s most famous motorcycle manufacturer, made its first appearance in a Bond movie when one of their bikes featured in “No Time to Die” in 2021. This film also marked the end of Craig’s five-film run playing the iconic character and delved deeper into his backstory than any previous entry.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition

The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition was directly inspired by the Triumph motorcycle that appears in one of “No Time to Die’s” most daring action scenes. It’s a stylish adventure bike with classic flair, powered by a 1200 cc eight-valve engine producing 89 hp and 81 ft lbs of torque. The trail-friendly Tiger 900 Bond Edition, meanwhile, is a two-sport bike that doesn’t feature in the movie but boasts a black and gold 007 livery. It’s powered by an 888 cc 12-valve engine that produces 93 hp and 64 ft lbs of torque. Both models were exclusive, limited to just 250 units each.

Unsurprisingly, Craig’s bikes, both bearing the actor’s signature, are low-serial number examples. His Scrambler 1200 was the third unit off the production line, while his Tiger 900 was the very first. Both come with certificates of authenticity signed by Craig and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor. Additionally, winning bidders will be eligible for a trip to the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales, where they’ll receive riding lessons from Bond stunt coordinators Lee Morrison and stunt double Paul Edmundson.

Craig’s Bond Edition motorcycles will be auctioned during Bonhams Autumn Stafford sale, which runs from Saturday, October 12 to Sunday, October 13. These bikes are being offered as separate lots, each expected to sell for between $13,000 and $26,000. A portion of the proceeds from both sales will benefit the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a charity that saves lives at sea and has long been associated with Craig.
