Date Revealed for WWE Raw’s Debut on Netflix

WWE recently hosted its latest international premium live event, Bash in Berlin, and, as with previous events held overseas, it was another tremendous success. WWE is continuously exploring ways to expand, and one of the biggest changes on the horizon is set for next year. Monday Night Raw, WWE’s flagship show, will be moving from its current home on USA Network to Netflix, positioning it on a global platform. The planned debut date is January 2025, but during the Bash in Berlin press conference, Cody Rhodes revealed that it would premiere on Netflix on Monday, January 6th. Fans can mark their calendars for this significant event.

“This deal is transformative,” stated Mark Shapiro, TKO President and COO. “It combines WWE’s can’t-miss product with Netflix’s extraordinary global reach and secures significant and predictable economics for many years. Our partnership fundamentally alters and strengthens the media landscape, significantly expands WWE’s reach, and introduces weekly live appointment viewing to Netflix.”

Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria added, “We are excited to have WWE Raw, with its massive and passionate multigenerational fan base, on Netflix. By merging our reach, recommendations, and fandom with WWE, we’ll deliver more joy and value to their audiences and our members. Raw represents the pinnacle of sports entertainment, blending compelling characters and storytelling with live action 52 weeks a year, and we’re thrilled about this long-term partnership with WWE.”

WWE President Nick Khan echoed similar sentiments, stating, “In its relatively short history, Netflix has created a phenomenal track record for storytelling. We believe that Netflix, as one of the world’s leading entertainment brands, is the ideal long-term home for Raw’s live, loyal, and ever-growing fan base.”

Alongside the move of Raw, WWE has also reallocated its other shows to new networks. While USA Network will no longer air Monday Night Raw, they will now become the home for WWE SmackDown starting in September. As for NXT, it will leave USA and take up its new residence on The CW beginning in October. WWE’s Premium Live Events will continue to stream on Peacock. Below are the results from the Bash in Berlin event:

  • Women’s Tag Team Match: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (C) defeated The Unholy Union
