David Bromstad’s True Relationship with Other HGTV Stars

David Bromstad, who hosts “My Lottery Dream Home” and many HGTV classics, exudes a positive vibe that suggests he gets along with everyone. HGTV, known for its behind-the-scenes dramas, has not seen Bromstad caught up in anything career-threatening. His clean track record raises the question: Does he maintain a good relationship with his HGTV colleagues?

Starting with family, Bromstad and his sisters, who appeared on 2021’s “My Lottery Dream Home: Holiday Extravaganza,” share a strong bond. That year, he celebrated their relationship on Instagram, saying they are “goofy, weird, delightfully strange, fashionable, intensely honest, Hyper creative, and deliciously dorky.” He expressed pride in working with his sisters, adding, “I’m so honored and proud to have worked with these incredible women.”

But what about Bromstad’s relationships with his other HGTV peers?

A few months earlier, Bromstad teamed up with fellow HGTV star Tiffany Brooks on “Rock The Block,” a show that has HGTV stars enhancing homes. Despite some past dramas on the show, he and Brooks got along swimmingly. He posted on Instagram, “Who loves color?! @tiffanybrooksinteriors and I are obsessed and won’t apologize for it.” Reflecting on their journey, he added, “Even though we didn’t win, we are very proud of how bold and yummy we take design.”

Bromstad also enjoyed competing against Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. In one memorable clip, Berkus and Brent approached Bromstad and Brooks with baguettes after Bromstad compared their design to bread. Jokingly, Bromstad said, “By the way, I just want to point out everybody loves bread,” which Brent echoed. Berkus even showed up in Bromstad’s pink tracksuit, making Bromstad’s day. He described it as “one of my favorite moments of the entire season of ‘Rock the Block'” on Instagram, adding, “We all had such a fun camaraderie and we were not afraid to tease each other.”

David Bromstad appears to have a great relationship with most of the HGTV stars he’s connected with. In February 2019, Bromstad reposted a photoshoot he did with Christina Hall, Alison Victoria, and Jonathan Knight for TV Guide Magazine. “Come back kids! I love these guys more than I can express,” he shared on Instagram, expressing his affection for the group.

Bromstad’s positive interactions aren’t limited to HGTV royalty; he also enjoys a great rapport with HGTV staff, including his makeup artist Lana Reiss. In a blooper video, he praised his behind-the-scenes team, saying, “How blessed am I? So thankful I get to travel around the country with my amazing team of goofballs.” He encouraged others to embrace their authentic selves, showcasing his upbeat and genuine personality.

Clearly, he’s well-loved by both peers and staff alike.
