Deadpool & Wolverine’s Final Trailer Reveals X-23’s Return

Marvel Studios has shared the final trailer for its highly-anticipated superhero threequel, Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The film is set to hit theaters next week on Friday, July 26.

The newly-released video provides fans with a serious look at Marvel Studios’ first-ever R-rated movie. It highlights the importance of the mission that the titular duo embarks upon, with Deadpool emphasizing how much he needs Wolverine’s help to save his world. The trailer also confirms that Jackman will be portraying a new variant of Wolverine, one distinctly different from the character featured in the original X-Men films. Additionally, the trailer unveils the much-anticipated return of Dafne Keen as X-23, a character beloved since her appearance in 2017’s Logan.

Shawn Levy directed the film, working from a screenplay co-written by Reynolds, Levy, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. The ensemble cast features returning Marvel stars including Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. Joining them are MCU newcomers Emma Corrin from The Crown and Matthew Macfadyen from Succession, playing Cassandra Nova and TVA agent Paradox, respectively.
