Death in Paradise’s Josephine Jobert Puzzles Fans with Snap of Mystery Man

Josephine Jobert’s comment section on Instagram has been buzzing with curiosity after the Death in Paradise star shared a photo with a mysterious man. The caption read, “Spending good time with family,” in both French and English.

Followers were quick to speculate about the man’s identity. One commented, “Nice picture of you and your husband,” while another asked, “Lovely photo @josephinejobert_official. Is this your father?” Some suggested he might be her uncle or another family member. Josephine appeared to confirm the man was indeed her father by liking a post identifying him as such.

Another fan chimed in with, “I can see the likeness. Hope you are having good time together.”

Josephine’s father is Charles Jobert, a French cinematographer and production manager known for his work in the 1970s-80s. Her mother, Véronique Mucret Rouveyrollis, is also in the entertainment industry as an actress, writer, and director.

Speaking to HELLO! about her mother back in 2022, Josephine shared, “We’re working on three projects at the same time. I love to write and I’d like to produce. My mum is amazing; she has so many brilliant ideas. She’s a writer, director, actress, singer, dancer. Her CV… I’m like, ‘Mum, this is a lie. You haven’t done all of this. It’s impossible!’ She’s extremely talented.”

“Writing with another person can be very difficult; you have to be really connected. We’re having so much fun. We wrote a short movie, are working on the series, and have a big blockbuster movie planned! Like Pirates of the Caribbean kind of vibe. No limits! The actress is currently very busy with a new Canadian crime drama, Saint-Pierre.
