Denise Richards Discusses Awkward Family Reunion in New Series

Denise Richards is gearing up for a new reality series on E! that centers on her family – her three daughters and her husband. Fans can expect some surprising guest appearances, making the show even more intriguing.

Richards, known for her work both as an actress and model, has ventured into reality TV before. She debuted with her self-titled series, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, on E!, which ran for two seasons until 2009. The show followed Denise as a single mother raising her two daughters with the help of her father, Irv. Later, she joined Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) for its ninth season, introduced her third daughter Eloise, and documented her relationship with Aaron Phypers, whom she married on the show.

Richards continued with RHOBH until season 10, but a rumor involving Brandi Glanville led to her departure. Although she returned for a few episodes in season 13, those appearances were rather controversial. During a dinner at Kyle Richards’ home, Denise’s behavior raised some eyebrows, and her confrontation with Erika Jayne during a Taco Tuesday event at Crystal Kung Minkoff’s didn’t help her case. Despite this, her life remains fascinating enough to warrant another reality series.

One of the most talked-about aspects of the new series is a scene featuring Brooke Mueller, Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s other ex-wife. As reported by Reality Tea, Denise, Aaron, her daughters, Brooke, and Brooke’s son Max Sheen were seen filming a picnic on a Malibu beach, surrounded by cameras. Brooke’s twin boys with Charlie Sheen were once under Denise’s care during a challenging period for Brooke and Charlie. This might be a point of discussion in the new series. Charlie Sheen, though, may remain absent on screen, as his voice was only heard and not seen during Denise’s RHOBH stints.

The period has been particularly rough for Brooke Mueller, who was recently questioned in connection with Matthew Perry’s death investigation. Authorities confiscated her phone and laptop due to her friendship with Perry and her insistence that she had no role in his death. This controversy may touch upon Denise’s past work on Friends and Charlie Sheen’s connection to Perry. The series, tentatively titled Denise Richards and the Wild Things, is slated to premiere in 2025.
