Denise Richards Excited to Bring Her Family Back on TV

Former RHOBH star Denise Richards is thrilled to bring her family back to television. Denise, who starred in the Bravo reality series for two seasons, exited the show but made a few guest appearances. Now, she and her family are returning to TV, this time on E! Denise Richards opened up about her excitement and the thought process behind this decision.

Before her stint as a housewife, Denise commenced her reality TV career on E! In 2008 and 2009, she starred in the candid reality series It’s Complicated, alongside her father and her two oldest daughters. Her extensive career has included acting, modeling, marrying Charlie Sheen, and raising three children. Denise joined RHOBH in Season 9, one year into her romance with Aaron Phypers, revealing a new aspect of her life. At this point, she was a mother to teenagers Sami and Lola, and her adopted daughter, Eloise, who has a chromosome disorder.

The couple shared a passionate relationship and wed shortly after Aaron’s divorce was finalized. However, Denise left RHOBH after two seasons when rumors surfaced about her alleged intimacy with Brandi Glanville. Despite stepping away from the show, Denise continued her acting career. Now, she and her family are embracing a new reality series on E! Denise discussed this decision on Tori Spelling’s misSPELLING podcast, expressing that the entire family is “excited” but acknowledges it wasn’t an easy decision.

Denise explained they took their time considering whether returning to television was the right choice for them. She emphasized the importance of involving the girls in the decision-making process:

“This was a long time, with all of us talking about it because I wanted to make sure that the girls were really wanting to do it. We’re doing it right now and trying to navigate all of that.”

The family knew that their lives would become public again, which was a significant consideration. Yet, things have changed since Denise’s time on RHOBH; Sami is now 20 and active on OnlyFans, alongside her mother:

“We had several meetings and talking, and so we’re doing that now. I was very proud of the girls that they were asking so many questions that they really wanted to be involved in now.”

Denise’s experience on RHOBH was mixed. In her first season, she was fun and laid-back, but her demeanor shifted during the second season. This change occurred before the Brandi Glanville rumors and coincided with Aaron’s controlling behavior. Subsequent appearances raised concerns as some viewers suspected she was under the influence, though she claimed it was just cold medicine. Given this history, the question arises: are fans ready to welcome Denise back?

It appears Denise’s previous reality show left a positive impression, with fans expressing their excitement:

  • I loved your other reality show you used to have on E
  • I used to watch your reality show years ago on E! When your girls were little and your dad was on the show. Congrats Denise!!! ❤️
  • Definitely going to watch ❤️

Fans have fond memories of her earlier series, which could draw viewers to the new show. There’s curiosity about whether Charlie Sheen will appear, though it remains uncertain. However, Denise’s ex-husband’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, will make an appearance, but her role is not yet clear.
