Did Jack White Release a New Album Secretly?

Jack White has apparently dropped a new album, yet it remains shrouded in mystery, appearing only as an unlabeled LP in the bags of Third Man Records shoppers worldwide. A post on White’s subreddit spilled the beans about this unexpected release. The post, which included a picture of a record in a plain white sleeve with a white label emblazoned with the words “No Name” in blue, intrigued fans of the enigmatic musician.

“Picked up a tee from Third Man Soho today, and the guy at the register slipped this into my bag too,” the Redditor revealed. “I asked him about it, thinking it might be his demo or something, but he seemed clueless. He said he’d just been instructed by ‘management’ to hand it out to customers. I won’t have access to a record player until later today, so I’m dying to know if anyone else has encountered this or if it means anything. Maybe I’m reading too much into the blue label.”

Another user on the same thread confirmed the suspicion, saying they had visited the Third Man Records Nashville location and could “totally confirm that it is a new Jack White album. I gave it a listen, and it’s pretty good.”

A different user provided more details in a separate r/JackWhite thread. They reported receiving the album at Third Man Records’ Detroit location and offered some insights. According to them, the album features seven songs on its A-side and six on its B-side, describing the content as “definitely more stripped-down blues rock. The songs go hard!”

Interestingly, Jack White has yet to acknowledge the surprise album on social media. Nonetheless, curious minds can catch a snippet of the first track online, sparking excitement among fans worldwide.
