While it seems Glenn was trying to connect with Whitney on some level, many fans think his comment was inappropriate, especially coming from her father.

One Reddit user commented that, “Glenn’s comment would have gone over better if he had said that Babs wouldn’t have looked twice at him either had he been severely overweight.” They suggested that the comment’s offensive nature was heightened because it was about a woman’s weight.
