Doug Emhoff’s ex-wife slammed JD Vance’s spouse before cheating scandal surfaced

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s first wife, Kerstin Emhoff, has recently predicted a future split for JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance. Kerstin made this prediction on X only days before DailyMail.com reported on her separation from Doug, which followed an affair with their children’s nanny.

Kerstin declared, “Usha’s going to be in the ex-wives club in 2025. Mark my words,” alongside a video of JD Vance which was shared by the campaign page for Kamala Harris, Doug’s current wife. Doug admitted to the infidelity in a CNN interview, reflecting on the tough times his actions caused during his first marriage. He mentioned that over time, the family worked through the issues and emerged stronger.

Najen Naylor, the nanny involved in the affair, did not deny the story when approached by DailyMail.com at her home in The Hamptons. She only commented that she was “kind of freaked out right now.” A close friend with direct knowledge revealed that Naylor did not keep the child from the affair. Naylor’s social media showed a video of a mysterious baby girl named Brook in 2009, the year the affair’s baby would have been born.

The Emhoffs’ marriage ended in 2009 due to Doug’s affair, as reported by sources. The scandal also led to Naylor leaving her teaching position at The Willows, an elite private elementary school in Culver City, California, where she taught the Emhoff children while also working as their nanny.

Doug Emhoff met Kamala Harris in 2013 on a blind date arranged by a friend of Harris. They married the following year. Claims of Doug’s infidelity first came to light on July 31 by right-wing activist and journalist Laura Loomer on X, although Loomer did not name Naylor initially.

Usha Chilukuri Vance, the wife of Republican VP candidate JD Vance, garnered attention after meeting JD during their time at Yale University Law School. Usha worked as a clerk for conservative judges, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Chief Justice John Roberts. She later joined the law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson, known for its “radically progressive” ideals, but left shortly after JD was chosen as Trump’s running mate.

The scandal is reportedly causing panic within Kamala Harris’s campaign, coinciding with her surpassing Donald Trump in several polls. The complicated web of relationships and political careers continues to unfold, with heavy scrutiny from the public and media.
