Despite being at the center of Hip-Hop’s most high-profile feud in recent memory, Drake has chosen to stay active, offering fans a constant stream of music. His activity has ranged from leaked tracks and collaborations with Camilla Cabello to a surprise appearance on Gordo’s latest project. Now, he has taken it a step further by releasing his first EP since the feud began.

The EP, titled 100 Gigs, is a three-track collection featuring Young Thug, 21 Savage, and Latto. It serves as a showcase of the Canadian artist’s versatility. The opening track, “It’s Up,” is a trap-heavy, speaker-busting song that echoes the energy of past hits like “Knife Talk” from Certified Lover Boy and “Demons” from Dark Lane Demo Tapes.

“Housekeeping Knows,” featuring Latto, is another standout track. It carries a vibe similar to Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy” from For All The Dogs, which featured Sexyy Red and SZA. The synergy between Drake and Latto in this track is palpable, giving the song a unique flavor that differentiates it from the rest.

Among the three tracks, “Blue Green Red” is quickly emerging as a fan favorite. The fast-paced production, combined with Drake’s signature dancehall-leaning melodies, gives the song an energetic feel reminiscent of his Views and More Life albums. The lyrics delve into personal territory, mentioning his mom, dad, and his current state of mind, providing a nostalgic touch that takes listeners back to Drake’s early days in 2011.

In related news, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg recently discussed a potential Drake project exclusively produced by Conductor Williams. Additionally, Drake has announced an upcoming joint project with PARTYNEXTDOOR. If 100 Gigs is any indication of what’s to come, it appears Drake plans to keep his musical output exceptionally high over the next year.
