Drake Releases Three New Songs From His Finsta This Week

Drake has officially released three songs that were recently dropped on his Finsta account.

On Tuesday, August 6, Drake surprised fans by sharing three previously unreleased tracks on his Finsta account, plottttwistttttt. Now, these tracks are available on digital streaming platforms. On Saturday, August 10, Drake officially released the songs titled “It’s Up” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Blue Green Red,” and “Housekeeping Knows” featuring Latto, for everyone’s streaming enjoyment.

Additionally, these tracks were featured on a website called 100 Gigs for Your Headtop. This site is essentially a data repository filled with Drake’s old photos, behind-the-scenes videos, and what appears to be some artwork presentations. The page was created in June of this year and currently hosts 260 items.

The manner in which these songs were released has raised some eyebrows. It’s puzzling why Drake would post them on streaming services without prior notice. As it turns out, the 6 God found himself hit with a copyright strike from Universal Music Group, which led to the temporary shutdown of his IG burner account where the songs initially appeared.

While the copyright notification listed UMG as the plaintiff, it didn’t clearly indicate whether the recently released songs were the cause of the Instagram account’s violation of the copyright agreement. This incident has sparked a broader discussion about artists’ legal rights concerning music and intellectual property.

Fans can now listen to Drake’s three songs that he initially released on his Finsta account.
