Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, showcased a Harris-Walz camouflage baseball cap on Monday night at the Democratic National Convention.

The 25-year-old fashion designer and model made an appearance alongside her father, “second gentleman” Doug Emhoff, donning the hat that has become a viral hit for the Democratic campaign. Earlier this month, the Harris-Walz campaign revealed that an initial batch of 3,000 hats sold out in just 30 minutes. This merchandise has since generated nearly $2 million in sales, according to Teen Vogue.

Harris recently announced her selection of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate in a video where she called him to share the news. In the video, Walz is seen wearing a camouflage hat. Social media users quickly noticed its similarity to hats sold by singer Chappell Roan with the phrase “Midwest Princess” as part of her merchandise line. Capitalizing on this, the Harris-Walz campaign released their version of the hat featuring their names, which quickly sold out and remains unavailable as of Tuesday.

In what seems to be a direct comparison to the red MAGA hats popularized by Donald Trump supporters, the Harris-Walz store describes their $40 cap as the “most iconic political hat in America.”

Ella Emhoff wasn’t alone at the Democratic National Convention. She attended with her older brother, Cole Emhoff. The Emhoff siblings were seen sitting behind Walz’s children, Gus and Hope Walz. Twenty-three-year-old Hope has also gained significant attention, appearing in several videos with her father, which has propelled him into popularity with the Gen Z demographic.
