Eminem’s latest chapter has finally been unveiled, and the rapper doesn’t hold back from name-dropping a few controversial figures. On his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), released on Friday (July 12), the Detroit legend takes jabs at personalities like Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West, Ja Rule, and more.

The album boasts a collection of 19 tracks, including three skits and features from artists such as Big Sean, Babytron, JID, White Gold, Sly Pyper, Bizarre, Ez Mil, Jelly Roll, Skylar Grey, and 2 Chainz.

On the track “Antichrist,” Eminem targets Diddy by referencing footage from 2016 showing Diddy physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. He also touches on rumors about the Bad Boy founder’s sexuality. Eminem raps, “Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his a beat worse than Diddy did [pause]/ But on the real, though/ She prolly ran out the room with his fkin’ dildo/ He try to field goal punt her, she said to chill/ Now put it back in my a** and get the steel toe.”

The confrontations intensify on the JID-assisted track “Fuel,” where Eminem addresses the sexual assault allegations against Diddy and his relations with the late Biggie Smalls. He raps, “I’m like a R-A-P-E-R/ Got so many S-As, S-As/ Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?/ R.I.P., rest in peace Biggie/ And ‘Pac, both of y’all should be living/ But I ain’t tryna beef with him/ ‘Cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D did him.”

Kanye West also isn’t spared. On the track “Bad One,” Eminem raps, “Brain is dead, space cadet/ Like when Ye forgets to take his meds.”

In “Road Rage,” Lizzo becomes another target, as Eminem addresses overweight individuals. He delivers lines such as, “Ain’t never really truly over ’til Lizzo sings/ We should coddle fat people, yeah, here’s a concept, let’s celebrate onset/ Diabetes and instead of us dieting we can just have a pie-eating contest.”

Before the album’s full reveal, Eminem executed a well-planned rollout emphasizing the “end of an era” concept behind the album. He aimed to retire his “Slim Shady” moniker, indicated as much in the album title. The rollout included a trailer centered around a police investigation involving him, “White Rapper” merchandise in collaboration with White Castle, and even an obituary in the Detroit Free Press newspaper.
