Even if I did lose the second set, I wanted to set the tone for the third set. Just really happy with my performance today.”

Navarro’s match statistics highlight her strong showing on the court. She converted five out of eight break-point opportunities and managed to win 39 service points, demonstrating her ability to capitalize on crucial moments.

On Sunday, Navarro made headlines by defeating Gauff, the defending US Open champion, in an upset victory. She won the match 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, which propelled her into the quarterfinals against Badosa.
