Emmerdale Star Estranged from Daughter Over OnlyFans Decision

Mia Dunn, the daughter of Emmerdale star Sammy Winward, has revealed that she and her mother are no longer on speaking terms after she joined OnlyFans earlier this year.

Winward, who gained fame for her role as Katie Sugden on the ITV soap from 2001 to 2015, was previously engaged to Blackburn footballer Daniel Dunn, Mia’s father. The couple split shortly after Mia’s birth in 2005.

A heated argument led to a falling out between Mia and her mother several months ago, and Mia has confirmed that they no longer speak to each other.

“She said some pretty mean things when we did last speak; it was awful,” she told The Sun.

“I absolutely love my mum. I love all of my family, but none of them speak to me now.”

Mia explained that she understands her family’s concerns about her new job but hopes that things will improve over time.

“I think they’re just being protective of me. It’s not been nice, and some of the conversations we had before we stopped talking weren’t great,” she continued.

“But I will always love and appreciate them. I hope that one day we can rebuild our relationship and move on.”

Mia also spoke about the newfound confidence she has gained from using OnlyFans, a content subscription service primarily used by sex workers. The model stated that she now earns ten times what she used to and hopes to use the opportunity as a stepping stone to a career in property.

“I feel so empowered on OnlyFans. I am my own boss and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing,” she explained.

She added, “I get around £30,000 a month from my account and work about three days a week. I film my content, upload it, and then spend time doing paperwork.”

However, Mia doesn’t plan to stay in the industry forever. “I won’t be doing OnlyFans forever. It is a great stepping stone into the property business,” she said.

Two years ago, Mia appeared with Winward during an interview on Loose Women. At that time, Mia intended to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become an actor. However, after finding work as a makeup artist post-school, discussions with friends about the earning potential on OnlyFans guided her to make the career switch.
