Eric Dane and Amanda Kloots Ignite Romance Rumors

Actor Eric Dane and The Talk co-host Amanda Kloots were seen dining together earlier this month, sparking rumors of a new romance. According to a report by In Touch Weekly, Dane has yet to finalize his divorce from actress Rebecca Gayheart, but his solo date with Kloots suggests he may be moving on. Neither party has commented on the speculation as of yet.

Dane and Kloots had dinner at Sushi Park in Los Angeles, California last week. Witnesses did not capture any photos, but they noted that the duo looked casual and possibly aimed to keep a low profile, dressed in jeans and t-shirts. Dane also wore a hat and sunglasses. Both were reportedly smiling as they exited the restaurant, leaving much to the imagination about their evening.

Dane’s divorce from Gayheart has been a prolonged affair since she first filed in February 2018. Dane and Gayheart, who got married in 2004, have two daughters, 14-year-old Billie and 12-year-old Georgia. Gayheart requested joint physical and legal custody of both children and spousal support, to which Dane agreed. However, the divorce proceedings have been slow, adding complexity to the legal process.

In a statement at the time, Dane said, “After 14 years together we have decided that ending our marriage is the best decision for our family. We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful girls as they are the most important thing in the world to us.”

Dane remains best known to many fans for his role as Dr. Mark Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy from 2006 to 2021. More recently, he has gained attention for his role as Cal Jacobs on HBO’s Euphoria and a series of movie roles, including this year’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die. According to his IMDb page, Dane has six upcoming projects, including a return for the next season of Euphoria.

On the other hand, Kloots is most recognized as a talk show host and is currently part of the panel on The Talk. She was previously married to actor David Larsen and later to actor Nick Cordero. Tragically, Cordero passed away in 2020 due to a severe COVID-19 infection. Both he and Kloots were praised for documenting their experience online, helping to raise awareness about the pandemic.
