Lara Trump’s new music video for her song “Hero” featuring Madeline Jaymes has drawn significant attention on social media, with many users expressing their surprise and urging her to stick with her current job.

Political commentator Travis Akers shared his thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “If your ears have been exposed to the abominable sounds of Lara Trump singing, you might be entitled to compensation.”

The duet aims to “honor heroes and their bravery,” featuring the highly auto-tuned voice of the Republican National Committee Chairwoman singing lines like, “You climb up the ladder, and the screams get louder, you’re my hero.” While the music video was initially released online on August 23, it has only recently become widely criticized among listeners.

Comedian Tony Posnanski commented on the app, “I just played Lara Trump’s garbage and both my dogs ran in and begged me to shoot off fireworks instead.”

Democratic political strategist Rick Wilson did not hold back either, comparing the tune to “a wild hog and a sack of rusty cans being thrown into an industrial wood chipper.”

Another user posted, “Every note is a violation of the Geneva Convention,” reflecting the widespread disdain for the song.

Some individuals went as far as sharing images of Donald Trump’s bandaged ear following the assassination attempt on the former president, humorously suggesting that his ears were bleeding because of his daughter-in-law’s singing.

Interestingly, Lara Trump did not share the video on her own social media platforms. However, she previously went viral in October 2023 for her “horrible” singing skills after a video of her covering Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” surfaced.
