Expert Comments on Tomi Lahren’s Transformation Amid Plastic Surgery Rumors

Tomi Lahren is a conservative Fox News commentator with nearly 2 million Instagram followers, her own show on Outkick.com, and a Cameo account. At just 32, Lahren’s appearance has changed notably, prompting speculation about potential plastic surgery. An old image of her as a high school senior, circulated on social media, shows a distinct difference from her polished look today.
These changes could be attributed to aging and styling. To get an expert opinion, The List consulted Dr. Mariano Busso, a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist based in Miami and Beverly Hills. Although Dr. Busso emphasized that Lahren is not his patient, he noted a “dramatic face change.”
Dr. Mariano Busso remarked, “There are two elements that stand out in this transformation: her face shape changed from round to triangular, and there is an increased definition on her jawline.”
Dr. Busso speculated that this could be due to buccal fat pad removal or bichectomy, procedures that slim the lower face by removing cheek fat. These surgeries have been popular among celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and rumored for others like Kendall Jenner and Angelina Jolie.
Lahren’s face shape could also have naturally changed due to weight fluctuation. Dr. Busso pointed out that significant weight loss could yield a similar effect. Lahren has addressed body image issues in her book, “Never Play Dead: How the Truth Makes You Unstoppable,” and even posted about being “WAY too skinny” after a breakup.

Dr. Mariano Busso mentioned other potential work Lahren might have had, such as neck liposuction and a lower facelift. He noted, “The improvement on her jawline can be explained by a combination of these procedures, along with non-surgical methods like Kybella or Emface submentum.”
Dr. Busso highlighted that fat removal from the face often results in increased skin laxity, which wasn’t noticeable in Lahren. The maintained jawline definition suggests a lower facelift might have been performed.
Lahren hasn’t confirmed any plastic surgeries, but she’s not alone in facing such rumors. Many public figures, including those in political circles like Kimberly Guilfoyle and Donald Trump, have confronted similar speculation.
