Fans React to Gisele Bündchen’s Wedding Plans With Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bündchen may soon be tying the knot again, as reports suggest she’s already planning her wedding with boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

The 44-year-old Brazilian supermodel has been in a relationship with the jiu-jitsu trainer for just over a year. The couple reportedly began dating in June 2023, eight months after Gisele finalized her divorce from Tom Brady. Despite some fans accusing her of having an affair with Valente before the separation, Gisele denied these claims in an interview with the New York Times in March, calling them false.

According to Life & Style, an insider revealed that Gisele and Joaquim are “planning a low-key wedding at her Costa Rica estate.” This choice of location is reportedly due to Gisele’s desire to keep the event “far away from prying eyes,” the insider explained. Gisele shares two children, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with her former husband, the ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.

The insider also suggested that her former stepson, Jack, 16, whom Brady shares with actress Bridget Moynahan, could be in attendance, along with Moynahan herself.

“Gisele is flying family in from Brazil,” the source revealed, adding that her sisters, Joaquim’s brothers Gui and Pedro, and even her new friend Shakira will be there. Gui is expected to be the best man.

The source even provided some hints about what Gisele might wear, indicating that the Nourish cookbook author could don something “white and sexy,” which her daughter Vivian had a hand in choosing.

The ceremony is expected to be conducted “mostly in their native Portuguese, with a little English,” the insider continued. The event is anticipated to feature “lots of flowers, fruit, fish – the whole event is going to be very tropical.” Additionally, Gisele reportedly wants a Brigadeiro cake, a famous Brazilian dessert.
