Fans ‘Worried’ as NCIS Star Wilmer Valderrama Teases Major Season 22 Episode

NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama has offered fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse at a significant episode from the upcoming 22nd season. While this has sparked excitement among fans, it has also ignited some concerns.

Wilmer, who plays Special Agent Nick Torres, shared a video from the set of the popular CBS show, which is set to return in October.

“Hey ladies and gentlemen. I’m on the set of NCIS with my partners in crime here,” Valderrama said, as he pointed the camera toward his co-stars Diona Reasonover, Sean Murray, and Gary Cole. “We can’t tell you what’s happening now but this is not a small episode. That’s all I can say,” he continued, raising his hand, which was in handcuffs.

Alongside the video, Wilmer wrote: “In scene…. October 14… Shhhh.”

Fans were quick to react, expressing their excitement for the upcoming season. “Totally can’t wait for season 22, so excited! Wow, the episode looks so good,” exclaimed one fan. Another added: “Cannot wait for the new season!”

However, some fans voiced concerns as Katrina Law, who portrays Agent Jessica Knight, was absent from the clip. “Ok now I’m worried. I hope Katrina does come back!!” one fan wrote. Others echoed similar sentiments, with one asking, “I don’t see Katrina???”

The fate of Agent Knight has been a topic of speculation ever since she accepted a new role as chief REACT training officer at Camp Pendleton at the end of season 21.

In recent weeks, Katrina has been quite active on social media, sharing family moments from their trip to Disneyland and showing off her new blonde hair.

These posts have led some fans to speculate whether she has left the show for good. One fan commented, “Apparently NCIS Season 22 is already in production – I take it you’re not part of it due to your present hair color and location?” Another viewer guessed, “I’m going to go out on a ledge and guess you’re not coming back to NCIS?”

In a recent interview with TVLine, Katrina discussed her character’s storyline. “I think that at the end, Jessica has to take this position because she knows deep down this is what she wants,” Katrina explained. “She wants a career, she’s very ambitious, and to her, a long-distance relationship isn’t the end of things.”

Katrina elaborated on her character’s decision-making process: “At the same time, maybe it is, if it doesn’t work out. She has to go forward and see where these things lead, she can’t settle into something she knows will ultimately make her angry and have regrets.”

When asked about her return in season 22, Katrina provided a cryptic reply: “Hmmm…. Better tune in for that season opener!”
