First Look of ‘Everybody Still Hates Chris’ Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con

If you were curious about the animation style for the upcoming series Everybody Still Hates Chris, look no further.

Voice cast members including Terry Crews, Tichina Arnold, Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, and Gunnar Sizemore, along with executive producer and showrunner Sanjay Shah, gathered at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend for a panel moderated by TVLine’s Keisha Hatchett.

During the conversation, fans in attendance were treated to a first-look poster, which you can check out below.

Touted as a reimagining of Everybody Hates Chris—the live-action family sitcom that ran for four seasons across UPN and The CW from 2005-2009—Everybody Still Hates Chris is an adult animated comedy loosely based on Chris Rock’s life in 1980s Brooklyn, N.Y.

Everybody Hates Chris veterans Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold will reprise their roles as Julius and Rochelle Rock, and Chris Rock is set to return as the series’ narrator.

They’ll be joined by newcomers Tim Johnson Jr. (Saturdays), who will take over for Tyler James Williams as young Chris; Ozioma Akagha (Delilah), who will voice Chris’ sister Tonya; Terrence Little Gardenhigh (Danger Force), who will portray Chris’ brother Drew; and Gunnar Sizemore (Kung Fu Panda), who will voice Chris’ best friend Greg.
