Florence Pugh Revamps the LBD with Bold Flashy Boots

Florence Pugh has never been one to shy away from a statement piece.

During an appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego this past weekend, the Little Women star zhuzhed up her classic little black dress with a pair of unexpectedly flashy boots.

She pulled a sleek minidress from David Koma’s Resort 2025 collection. The piece featured a high mock neck, billowing short sleeves, and an asymmetric draping detail that swept across her waist into a glittering buckle and plunged to the floor.

For some extra pizzazz, Pugh punctuated the look with metallic silver knee-high boots, which featured pointed toes, stiletto heels, and a croc-embossed texture. She continued the silver theme with her jewelry—which hailed from Eéra, Maison H., and Rainbow K—including diamond-encrusted chain-link earrings, large chunky rings, and a thick bracelet.

Pugh showed up at Comic-Con to promote upcoming Marvel movie Thunderbolts, in which she will reprise her role as Yelena Belova. The movie will also star Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

“There’d be no point in letting these characters come together and having their character arcs unless we actually spoke the truth about how they’d be feeling—and to come and make this movie in the way that we made it,” Pugh said in an interview with People at the convention about Thunderbolts, which is about a group of onetime villains recruited to serve as heroes. “I feel like this is something that we’ve never seen before from Marvel. I feel like it’s a very open and honest and truthful idea. And I’m just really excited for people to watch it.”
