Food Influencer Slammed for Wasting Lobsters, Says She Was ‘Treated Like Trash’

A food blogger and “luxury connoisseur,” Mister Lewis (@mister.lewis), is facing backlash on TikTok for what many describe as “obnoxious” and inappropriate behavior. He filmed himself attending an all-you-can-eat lobster buffet at the Palms Casino Resort.

In the video, Mister Lewis follows the restaurant’s rule allowing one lobster per plate by bringing single lobsters to his table, one plate at a time. Interpreting the rule to mean he could fetch as many lobsters as he liked, provided he did so with individual plates, he soon found himself clashing with the restaurant staff.

“Appreciate you, boss, appreciate that,” Mister Lewis says as he exits the buffet line holding two plates brimming with cooked lobsters. One of the lobsters unexpectedly falls to the floor. “Ope! Oh well,” he comments nonchalantly.

At one point, the influencer asks off-camera, “Can I have more lobster or not?” The video then switches to an employee explaining that while he is allowed more lobsters, he must first finish those already at his table.

“I have to eat all this first?” he questions, gesturing towards his table which is stacked with plates of lobsters, lobster tails, a bucket, lemon wedges, and two bowls of melted butter.

Clarifying the rule, he asks, “To be clear, the rule’s that I have to finish a plate before I go back to the buffet?” The employee confirms, “For the lobsters? Yes,” while pointing towards a sign indicating the rule.

Mister Lewis retorts, “It says one per plate. It doesn’t say you have to eat the plate before you come back though.” Despite his interpretation, the staff insists he must finish his current lobsters before retrieving more.

Another diner intervenes, stating, “It’s common sense.” Agitated, Mister Lewis snaps back, “I wasn’t even talking to you who are you? Who are you I wasn’t talking to you!”

The video then cuts to another employee photographing the number of lobsters on his table. Mister Lewis defiantly poses with the lobsters, rhetorically stating, “The casino who be taking all y’all money has a problem with me taking some lobster. All you can eat? Stop playing with me,” before drenching the lobster tails in melted butter.

Explaining his actions, he narrates, “So I’m at the Palms in Vegas trying to put y’all on to the good spots … and the manager comes over to my table like umm, excuse me, are you gonna eat all that? The rules said one piece per plate. So that’s exactly what I was doing. I would get one piece, take it back to my table, and then go back and get another piece.”

He records himself enjoying a bite of lobster drenched in butter, remarking, “Ayy listen after all that I ain’t even gonna hold y’all, that lobster was bussin! The butter had some seasoning and at only $80 too. This deal is definitely worth it. But the way that they treated me made me wanna leave immediately.”

He claps his hands in front of the lobster pile, expressing satisfaction. However, the clip transitions to him discarding several unfinished lobsters into the trash. Apologizing as he tosses the lobsters away, he faces off-camera voices reminding him he’s “not supposed to be back here.”

The final frames of the video showcase all the discarded lobsters. The video garnered numerous criticisms from TikTok users.

“Nah you wrong on this one boss,” commented one viewer.

“Definitely wrong for that,” agreed another.

Some even suggested the restaurant pursue legal action against him: “The restaurant should take legal action.”

One commenter remarked on the influencer’s attitude, saying, “You can be wealthy, but kind and humble at the same time.”

Another asked, “Is it that wrong to be considerate to other people?”

In the eyes of another viewer, “You let us down on this video.”

One user proposed that his disappointed followers simply stop engaging with his content: “Why don’t people just unfollow him and make him lose his platform? He needs his followers, his followers don’t need him.”
